There have been a few concerns raised regarding communication over the summer holidays and the difficulty some parents have had in contacting the school. Firstly, it's worth noting that while the school is officially closed (and the six week closure is also the window for staff to book their own family holidays) there are always staff in and out so it is usually possible to contact someone.
This year has been unique in that the school has also become a building site - as a result the email network and phone lines have been down for the majority of the summer. The only way parents have been able to contact us is via twitter and we have responded to all messages we have received.
We have been made aware of a number of new nursery parents unsure of the start dates for their children. While this was covered in the induction meetings, we accept that not all parents could attend. We apologise for any confusion this has caused and look forward to welcoming you all on Tuesday 5th September.
