Junior Colour Run

Unfortunately, due to a very wet field and many children without kits, we have had to postpone today’s sponsored colour run. The event will now be held on Monday 4^th July at 2.30pm on the school field. It appears that the letter sent out did not reach everyone so here is a reminder of what’s happening:

 

• Children will be sponsored to complete as many laps of the field as they can. Each time a lap is completed, they will be painted in a particular colour.
• We ask that children bring suitable running clothes that day along with a white t-shirt. This can be an old one that you don’t mind being painted or cheap ones can be picked up from most supermarkets. If you can’t provide a t-shirt, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
• Parents may come and watch the event. However, as with sports day, we ask that children are collected from their classes in the normal manner at the end of the day.
• Any sponsored monies collected this year will be put towards making our school yard a more exciting, colourful and stimulating place to be.

 I have attached another sponsor form to the reverse of this letter and have reminded children about safe sponsorship collection (friends and family only).
