Healthy Week Sponsored Events

At the end of a very busy week completing PACT activities with parents and learning all about living a healthy lifestyle in class, all the children took part in challenging sponsorship activities on Friday. Children in classes 1 and 2 had great fun completing an obstacle course on the school field while classes 3 and 4 also completed obstacles on a fun run course. Classes 5 and 6 ate an early lunch and set off on their challenge of climbing Garth Mountain. The weather was on side and every child (and adult) completed the challenging trek successfully. The views from the top of the mountain were stunning and all the younger children came out onto the yard to wave at the tiny specs above. Great fun was had by all and so far (with more to come) we have raised almost £1000 for our new 'trim trail'. What a way to start the summer term - check out the pictures below...
