On a showery Thursday last week the Ffynnon Taf rugby squad visited the Arms Park to play in the annual Future Cardiff Blues tournament.It was a great experience for the children to play rugby on a world famous pitch - and they didn't let us down. Excellent rugby skills made sure the team won more games than they lost. Against different teams across RCT and beyond the boys played 7 matches, won 4, drew 1 and lost 2. Well done to all the boys especially those who represented the school in rugby for the last time. ie Ben, Deon, Harri, Ashley and Jordan. Top try scorer was Deon with 12 tries although all the Y6 boys scored during the course of the day. Our best game was a five tries to 1 demoliton of local rivals Maes Y Coed A team!!! Da iawn also to the younger boys who made up the squad - they did themselves and the school proud - Harry, Callum, Brandon, Byron and Jack.
