As part of our commitment to provide a range of enrichment activities both in and out of school, all our children will have the chance to take part in a trip to the theatre over the next couple of months. To start things off, our Foundation Phase classes (Classes 1,2 & 3) will be making a trip to the New Theatre in Cardiff this week to see, 'Room on the Broom.' The popular children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffle (who also created 'The Gruffalo') has been turned into a stage show for children. We are sure both the children and the adults accompanying them will have a wonderful time.Next up, just before we break up for Christmas, Class 6 will be making the shorter trip to Pontypridd to see the pantomime 'Dick Whittington' and in February, Classes 4 and 5 will be meeting up with children from our cluster schools to watch Pinocchio. Details of these last two visits will be sent out to parents shortly.
