We have distributed parcels of food to Senior Citizens in the village, some of whom joined us for the service. We were also delighted to have our minister Sue O'Hare and a very refreshed looking Mrs Reynolds as guests for the morning.
Each class performed a small piece about the meaning of harvest. Classes 1 and 2 joined forces to sing a song about field mice while Class 3 gave a confident performance of 'Cauliflowers.' Class 4 gave a wonderful talk about different items of harvest food while both Class 5 and 6 recited harvest themed poems they had composed themselves. The children were all very confident and extremely well behaved and all our guests left very impressed
It was a lovely way to round off a very busy but hugely enjoyable first half term. I would like to take the opportunity to thank staff, pupils and indeed parents for making me feel so welcome at Ffynnon Taf Primary School! I am very much looking forward to the next half term and am very excited about the many things we have planned for the school. Have a restful holiday and see you all in November!
