Congratulations to the Ffynnon Taf cricket team for qualifying for the next round of the National Kwik cricket tournament. After a very successful day of cricket at the Maritime astroturf in Pontypridd on Wednesday 9th June our team now progress though to the Regional Finals which will be held at Miskin Cricket club on June 23rd. Excellent batting displays saw them through with all members of the team hitting 4's and 6's. Accurate bowling and fielding skills were also of a high standard. Adam Cleeves was Ffynnon Taf player of the tournament hitting four sixes off one over! Ffynnon Taf beat Craig yr Hesg, Tonyrefail and Hafod schools and lost only once, narrowly to Maesycoed Primary. They qualified for Miskin Manor as runners up with the best batting record and will now represent the Taff Vale and Pontypridd areas.
