Last Monday our Ffynnon Taf rugby squad had a successful trip to play tag rugby on the Cardiff Arms Park! We played six matches against other schools from RCT and won four, lost one and drew one. The day was organised by the Future Blues rugby development officer Liam Scott, well known to the children who also play for Taff's Well RFC. All the school players did really well with some excellent tries scored, the pick of the bunch being from speedy Nathan O Brien. The children all were presented with Cardiff Blues certificates, car stickers, posters and a trophy. Congratulations for representing the school so well go to Nathan, Saleem, Wiliam P, Bradley Mcl,Ffion, Jordan W, Deon, Ashley DM, Harri B, Ethan H and Tom C. Extra congratulations also go to Deon Mota for representing the Pontypridd District schools' rugby team this season and for being awarded with the school chwarae teg award for the summer term.
