On Tuesday 27th April class 4 will be visiting the Kenfig Nature Reserve near Porthcawl. On the day Graham Holmes, Kenfig's Education Warden, will take the children on a nature walk through the sand dunes where we will be looking for all sorts of wildlife including rare plants and migrating birds. Then, in the afternoon, the children will go pond dipping in the freshwater lake to see what they can discover.Graham is full of fun and usually has a few surprises up his sleeve for the children too! Last year's class 4 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Kenfig and we are hoping for similarly good weather this year. There is a fantastic display of our children's work in the classroom at Kenfig for our new Ffynnon Taf class 4 to see.Hopefully they can add to it and update it this year. The children will be outside for most of the day so keep an eye on the weather forecasts - it could be suncream or waterproofs depending!
If you are a parent of a child in class 4 please let Mr Brown know asap if you can come along and help out on the day. We'll be leaving at 9am and will be back by 3pm.
