Some of the older children in the eco-committee took part in two activities recently. First of all they went out into the village with two of RCT's Environmental officers to put up warning signs about dog fouling on the roadside. Today, they went up to Bryn Pica recycle centre in Hirwaun to see how our rubbish is sorted and then recycled or buried in the landfil area. The information they came back with will be very useful for us as a school and particularly for Year 6 pupils who are doing the topic in their class at the moment.
You can recycle most waste now, so come on....do your bit!!
