Carol Concert.

As you are aware, the junior department will not be staging a large scale Christmas performance this year. Due to the rate that the school continues to grow, we have decided to focus on the infant production at Christmas and the juniors will work toward an end of year production in the summer term. We could not, however, let Christmas pass without some form of event for our older children.


For the first time, we will be combining the annual Taff's Well Light Parade with a  carol concert. Following the parade from the church to school, the junior children will gather in the hall at 6pm to sing a selection of new and traditional Christmas songs. They will also showcase some of the musical skills they have picked up during their weekly sessions with RCT music support. To avoid any disappointment, we have decided to ticket the event and repeat the following afternoon. Tickets will be on sale from Friday 1st December from Mrs James and priced at £1 each. In short:

• Concert 1 - Monday 18th December at 6pm
• Concert 2 - Tuesday 19th December at 2.30pm
• Tickets are £1 each and are limited to 2 per family initially with more being released later if available..
• While linked to the Light Parade, you do not have to take part to attend or be involved in the concert. Just arrive at school for a 6pm start (or slightly earlier for children taking part).
