Healthy Week Sponsored Activities

Last week, we held our annual 'Healthy Week' and had huge amounts of fun learning how to be healthy, both through what we eat and what we do with our bodies. Part of the week involved the usual sponsored events where children are challenged to physically push themselves in a variety of ways. Our youngest children in Teigr and Eliffant took part in a 'Welly Walk' alongside the River Taff while children in upper foundation phase (Cangarw and Coala) undertook an exciting 'Scoot 'n Dash' around the school. Later in the week, our junior children thoroughly enjoyed participating in a 'Colour Run' - completing laps of the field to be painted in a different colour each time. Some children completed an amazing 18 laps to be turned into human rainbows!


A most enjoyable week raised £1000 for school funds so a big thank you to everyone who us. Below are just a few photos from the sponsored activities.
