Sport Relief 2016

This year we are really excited to be raising money for Sport Relief 2016! As one of the UK's biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. Sport Relief will be kicking off in Ffynnon Taf on Friday 18th March.

To do our bit and raise money, we are inviting the children and staff to come to school dressed in sports clothing (tracksuits, leggings, sweaters, trainers etc) in exchange for £1. Throughout the day, children will be participating in 'Beat the teacher' games and a whole school Zumba event. There will also be an after school netball match - teachers V FT netball team! Mrs Bailey will also be arranging a 'walk to school' on this day and pre-school running will continue with Mr Worth. Dosbarth Eliffant parents will also be invited in to watch their children perform a class assembly about Sport Relief to kick start our day!

The best bit is, the money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries. We will also be usint Sport Relief as a teaching opportunity so that our pupils can learn about the issues children across the world face, and how the money raised can help them. We really appreciate your support and hope you'll have fun helping our school raise lots of money for Sport Relief.
