PACT (
Parents And Children Together) week drew to a close today with Dosbarth Llew taking part in the final pottery sessions with their parents. Over the last 10 days, over 210 children (plus parents) have passed through our pottery marquee and had the opportunity to learn different clay modelling techniques as well as creating their own bowls, goblets, vases and pots on the potter's wheel.
A big thank you to Matt Jones from 'Ave a Go Ceramics' who helped us organise and run the workshops. It was no mean feat to cater so well for children from Nursery to Year 6! The sessions were a great success and all involved (children, parents and staff) thoroughly enjoyed while learning some new skills together. Check out some of the pictures from week below…
