As you know, improving attendance levels has been a big issue for us at Ffynnon Taf this year. We have employed a number of strategies including: termly attendance reports to parents, 100% certificates and skating vouchers, a new gold ticket draw to win an iPad Mini and an annual attendance newsletter. I am pleased to let you know that these efforts seem to be working with our autumn term average rising to a pleasing 94.7%. This compares well with our RCT target of 94.6% and is a huge improvement on last year's 93.6%. It is still below the Welsh Government target of 95% but I believe, over the next two terms, this target is now achieveable!
