On Friday we were delighted to open the new adventure playground for our Lower Foundation Phase department. The playground was opened in style with a party designed and organised by the children of Dosbarth Teigr and Dosbarth Eliffant as part of their 'Bounce' topic.
Special guests from our governors and fundraising association were invited to cut the ribbon on the new playground. A variety of bouncy fun was had by all and the children were thrilled to try out their new climbing frames, slide, tunnel, climbing nets, troll bridge, racing track and role play hut as well as a new sand pit and grassed story telling area. The party culminated in a picnic where the children had created a menu of 'bouncy ball' themed food!
The afternoon was a great success and we know the children would like to thank the 'We Love Ffynnon Taf Fundraising Association' for all their hard work in raising funds (and continuing to do so!) for this wonderful new addition to our outdoors. Pictures of the event are posted below...
