Our 2013 Eisteddfod was a fantastic afternoon that, once again, really highlighted and celebrated the many talents of our children. As well as the presenting of the prizes for craft and poetry competitions and chairing of the Bards, we also had poetry recitations and rousing performances of Welsh songs, including Sospan Fach and of course, Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau!
Big congratulations to poetry/craft winners from each class (many pictured below) who were presented with special St David's Day certificates and helped gain points for their houses. An extra big 'Da iawn' goes to our 'Mini Bards' Aimee Leigh Marshall and Shanice Chinnick and our overall Bard, Harry O'Connell, whose wonderful winning poems will be added to the blog shortly. Finally, 'llongyfarchiadau!' to this year's winning house colour - Glas! Well deserved! Enjoy pictures from our afternoon below...
