A Right Royal Party!

To mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and to close this half term, we will be holding a special Jubilee garden party during the afternoon of Thursday 31st May (Friday is a training day). This will take the form of a traditional tea party on the yard which will be decorated to suit the occasion.

The children are invited to come to school in fancy dress that day - either in a royalty themed costume (we are hoping for plenty of Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses!) or in the colours of the Union Jack. Each class will get the chance to show off their costumes in a parade and the best dressed King and Queen from both the Junior and Infant departments will be crowned and win a special prize.

The children will be busy preparing for the event during the morning - decorating cakes and bunting, making flags and crowns - but we are also looking for a little parental help. If anyone is willing to give an hour of their time helping the PFA make sandwiches, it would be greatly appreciated - just let Mrs James or Mr Worth know. We will also be looking for donations of bread and sandwich fillings but will text details of this later in the week. Finally, if any parents have cakestands we could borrow for the duration of the party, we promise to look after them!

Thank you for your continued support.
