The whole school celebrated the end of this half term and the upcoming Diamond Jubilee with a giant tea party this afternoon. Everybody made a huge effort and came dressed for the occasion with many children (and staff) in 'Royalty' themed costume or in the colours of the Union Jack; it was a sight to behold! Following busy preparations this morning, the children had a chance to show off their costumes in a royal parade before sitting down to traditional sandwiches and cakes. The day was a great success and we'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the PFA and parent volunteers for giving up their time to prepare the event. We are also extremely grateful to Frankie & Benny's for preparing and storing the food in their kitchens! Check out some pictures and videos from the party below (courtesy of Mrs Beese!)
