Dosbarth Llew ended last term with a great day out in London. As part of their topic on 'World War 2' the children spent the majority of their day in the Imperial War Museum. They were fascinated by the many exhibits and galleries and surprised themselves with what they knew. They also had the chance to take part in the 'Blitz Experience' where actors led the children into a bomb shelter during a raid and explored the remains of a London street once over.
As an added extra, the children took a ride on the London Eye for some fantastic views of the capital city at dusk. It was a long, tiring day but thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. Here are a couple of pictures from the day with more to follow in the Dosbarth Llew blog.
