Christmas Fair 2011

The PFA are busy arranging this year's Christmas Fair - to be held on Friday 9th December. The fair will be located in the school hall and will run between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.

As usual there will be an excellent variety of stalls to keep children, and adults alike, busy and amused - Lucky Dip, Mystery Gift, Teddy Tombola as well as tins, cakes, craft, book and music stalls. Of course, Father Christmas will also be by his fireplace for the children to visit.

We hope to have carol singers present and will be serving hot dogs, mince pies, hot drinks and mulled wine to keep everyone refreshed and in the festive spirit. In addition, photographs of the children with Santa will be available to view and purchase.

We will be holding two special non-uniform days in the run up to the fair in order to collect donations for the stalls. The first of these will be Friday 25th November when we will be asking children to donate something from the following list:

•Tins or bottles

•Toiletries

•Craft Items/Gift wrap/Cards

The second non-uniform day will be held on Friday 2nd December and donations are encouraged from the following:

•Books

•CDs

•DVDs

•Computer games

Please feel free to donate as much as you like from any of the lists. All proceeds from the stalls will of course feed back to the children in the form of resources for the school. Also, we are looking for boys/girls gifts worth about 50p for the 'Mystery Gift' stall. Any ideas, suggestions or donations will be gratefully received by the PFA.

In addition to the above, we will be holding our Christmas Raffle on the day of the Fair. Further details of the prizes and a strip of raffle tickets to sell will be sent out shortly.

Finally, if you are willing and able to run a stall or help set up in the afternoon could you please let Mr Worth or one of the PFA members know as soon as possible.
