Our first day back after half term, Tuesday 1st March (Monday 28th February is a training day), will see us celebrating St David's Day in school. The children will take part in a variety of Welsh themed activities throughout the day culminating in a special concert in which we will announce the winners of the art and poetry competitions in each year group and crown this year's Bard. Children have been working hard on ideas for their poems this week and will complete them in this Friday's Big Writing session. As it's St David's Day, children are once agian invited to wear Welsh costume on this day. Check out the Observer during that week for the photos of our children dressed in their Welsh costumes.
