Today we celebrated World Book Day and Roald Dahl's 100th Birthday combined! Children and staff were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character and as usual we were amazed at the effort everyone went to! We had countless Matildas, Wonkas and BFGs alongside many Oompah Loompahs, Charlies and Fantastic Mr Foxes. There were also a few of his lesser known characters in the mix along with an amazing Mr and Mrs Twit.
During the day, children took part in a host of activities centred around these stories and we had a special 'Revolting Rhymes' assembly. A great day was had by all and a big thank you to everyone once again for the huge amounts of effort that went into it! here are just a few images from the day...
