The children had a great day yesterday raising money for this year's Children in Need campaign. All children and staff came to school dressed in pyjamas and slippers for a small donation. In addition, many children had been busy in the kitchen the night before in preparation for the Great Ffynnon Taf Bake Off! We were amazed at the both the number and quality of the cakes brought in and our judging panel had the unenviable task of selecting a winner. In the end, 4 prizes were awarded - 2 for shareable cakes and 2 for individuals and the winners are pictured below!
It was a great day that culminated in probably the biggest cake sale we've ever had (and certainly with the most impressive and tasty cakes). The School Council organised event had raised £210 by the end of the school day with money still coming in - we'll give you a grand total in the week! In the meantime a huge thank you to all involved and enjoy the pictures from the day...
