We are excited to announce
our brand new Karate Club which will commence on Tuesday 17th
September. The club is open to all junior children (Year 3 – 6) and will be run
by Mr. Wyn Boobier, a former lecturer at Glamorgan University and colleague of
our parent, Mrs Laugharne.
The club will run every
Tuesday from 3.15 – 5.15pm at a cost of £4 (fantastic value at only £2 an
hour). Mr Boobier’s aim is to work through the various belts with the children
and while being great fun, there is an expectation that those children
interested will attend regularly. Mr Boobier will be able to provide all kits,
certificates, belts etc. at cost price and will be happy to answer any
questions you have at the commencement of the first session next week.
We are extremely lucky to
have this opportunity at such a low price but it will only be viable with a reasonable
attendance.
