Taff's Well Light Parade

A big thank you to all who supported Taff's Well's light parade on Monday by either helping their child create a lantern or accompanying them on the parade through the village. The event, organised by Rev. Sue O'Hare, was a great success and enjoyed by all that took part. The children, parents and staff waited until the sun went down before walking, with their lanterns from the school, through the village and onto Taff's Well's All Nations Church. They were met by a live nativity (performed by our former pupil, May Davies and her father along with a live goat!) and a warm drink and mince pies. The afternoon ended with a carol singalong in the church accompanied by live musicians. This was the first event of its kind in Taff's Well. Judging by the turnout it's sure to return next year. Check out some pictures of the event, along with the lanterns designed for our competieion, below.
