Regardless of the awful weather on Saturday, the fete was a great success. The support we received was tremendous and helped us to raise a fantastic £1320 in total - a new record! I'd like to say a huge thank you to each and every member of the PFA for the effort that was put into organising the event and the time that was given up in doing so! Without their hard work we wouldn't be looking at the possibility of a brand new 'adventure playground' for our nursery children or the many other resources we've purchased over the years.
I'd also like to thank the University of Glamorgan for the various resources they lent us (along with the Olympic tickets raffle prize) and Ferris Holidays for donating the star prize of a London city break.
Other prize donations, for which we are extremely grateful, came from Amazing Grace, River Hair Co, Carpet Services, Co-op, Cross Keys Hotel, Regional Schools Sports, Nandos, Carol's Florist, Celtic Flooring, Franky & Benny's, Tescos and Sainsburys!
A special mention should also go out to Cylch Meithrin Y Ffynnon Taf who set up and monitored the soft play area for the day. Last but not least, thanks to all the parents who donated a fantastic variety of goods through our non uniform days!
Due to how busy (and wet!) the day was, we have no photographs of the event. If anyone has any pictures we can use to record the event that would be fantastic!
