Sports Day Postponed

Firstly, I would like to apologise once again for the late notice in cancelling this afternoon’s Sports Day event. When we made our initial decision at 10am, there had been a little light rain but the ground was dry. The BBC forecast also indicated it would stay dry until this evening. While we were setting up however, it became obvious that the ground was too wet and muddy for some of the events to take place. Rather than a scaled down version, we took the decision to postpone the full event   to a later date. I understand many parents would have taken time off work and I hope we didn’t cause you too much disruption.

On a more positive note, we hope to try again at the same time (1.15pm) on Thursday 5^th July. We hope to see you there.
