School access during new classroom construction

Following discussions with the contractors appointed to build our new classroom, I am now in a position to inform you of how the project will affect the school in the coming months.
Work has been brought forward slightly and the builders will be on site next week to enclose the site so construction can begin at the start of the holidays. The whole of the reception class playground (including the pedestrian access gate) will be enclosed as will the vehicle access gate into the main playground – see plan overleaf. The contractors have assured us that no deliveries or heavy plant traffic will attempt to access the site during collection and drop off times.
From next Monday (2nd April), the only access into school will be on foot and through the staff car park – children and parents of all classes will have to use this route into school until construction ends. I wrote earlier in the week to remind parents that the lane was not to be used for car access during drop off and collection times. This ban has now been extended to include breakfast club and after school clubs as some children will have to use the lane to leave and access these clubs on foot.
Once inside the school grounds, collection and drop off arrangements remain the same for all classes except Dosbarth Teigr (Mrs Tucker’s class) as their door will be enclosed. Nursery children should now be collected from their outdoor play area. This is accessed by walking in front of the lower foundation phase building and around to the right hand side until you reach an access gate at the rear.
Myself or another member of staff will be present for the first few days of these new arrangements to offer assistance if required. I apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused but I’m sure you’ll agree this is worthwhile for the future development of our school.
I've posted a diagram below to illustrate the new procedures.
