Training Days for the year.

As you are probably already aware, five training days are awarded annualy to all schools to use at their discretion for the professional development of staff and the raising of standards. In addition to this, as was the case last year, two additional days have been awarded to each school by the Welsh Government for use in developing Literacy and Numeracy. Our training days for 2011/2012 are as follows:


• Monday 5th September 2011 – Read Write Inc. Training

• Tuesday 6th September 2011 – Read Write Inc. Training

• Wednesday 7th September 2011 – Remodelling of school

• Monday 20th December – Sharing best practice

• Tuesday 3rd January – Development of a new Junior Curriculum

• Monday 20th February – ‘Mantle of the Expert’ training

• Monday 23rd April – Development of a new Junior Curriculum
