Big Writing Open Evening

On Wednesday 25th May we are holding our postponed Big Writing Presentation. The purpose of this session will be to give parents a better understanding of how writing is currently taught in school, how talking is linked to a child’s writing development and how parents can get involved at home. We aim to develop this understanding through the following:

• A presentation explaining Big Writing, Big Talk and VCOP

• A chance to watch groups of children taking part in sample VCOP activities

• An explanation of 'Talk Homework'

The session will begin at 5pm and last approximately 45 minutes; refreshments will be available following the presentation. We look forward to seeing you there!
