Pancake Races

To mark Shrove Tuesday we held pancake races in school. Children from every class in the school had chance to take part in boys' and girls' races on the school yard. We even had races for parents and teachers (Mr Brown won the teachers' race but I'm still not convinced his pancake left the plate...). Everybody had a lot of fun and to top it off, the PFA raised over £50 selling pancakes at the end of the day. A big thank-you to Miss Morris, Mrs Stevens and Mrs Shaddick for slaving over a hot stove all afternoon to turn out an impressive 100 pancakes! Check out the pictures below.
