Japan Earthquake

This week we have been thinking about the people in Japan who have been affected by the terrible earthquake and tsunami that hit the country's east coast earlier this month. We held a whole school assembly on Monday morning to talk about what happened and remember the victims. In addition, class assemblies were held today and the school council arranged a successful 'opposites' day to raise funds for the salvation army appeal. Once again, everybody made a great effort and we had everything from odd socks and shoes to boys dressed as girls and vice versa! It was all for a very worthy cause and we were delighted to raise almost £200 to help the victims of this awful disaster. A big thank you to you all!
