Fruit snacks

I reminded the children last week about how important it is to drink water throughout the day and many of them have responded positively and are now bringing their water bottles to school each day.
Recently though we've also noticed that fewer children in the juniors are bringing in fruit for their break-times or buying fruit from our shop. Again, it is beneficial for children to have a snack at morning break to keep up their energy levels and to stop them from feeling hungry, especially as some of them don't get to sit down to eat until 12.30 p.m. So could you please try to encourage the children to have some kind of fruit (either whole fruit or snack packs) or provide them with money for the shop (20p)for a healthy break-time snack.
Many thanks.
